Pregnancy raises blood pressure almost universally (due to the increased blood volume) and any woman who is having high blood pressure or strange blood pressure issues toward the end of her pregnancy (especially if it's complicated by other medical issues and/or dehydration or malnutrition) would be watched very carefully and quite possibly admitted, because pre-eclampsia and eclampsia are a major medical emergency.

That is an excellent point! Somehow I overlooked it.

Low blood pressure and passing out are much more likely in early pregnancy, though certainly not impossible at any stage. As the pregnancy progresses, high blood pressure is much more likely and arrhythmia is a known risk due to the bulimia. Many of the medications used to stabilise an arrhythmia are not safe during pregnancy, so admission and close monitoring would be a great option. If anything goes wrong, they will know immediately and can deliver the baby and treat the mother ASAP.
