This blog is written by a forager in Wisconsin, and tells you how to prepare many wild plant remedies. Some of the plants he lists won't grow in your region, but there should be plenty of overlap, especially in uses for pine needles (preventing scurvy!) and pine sap. http://wildedibles.blogspot.com/
