I found out about this community from a fellow writer-friend, and my searches haven't been conclusive on this topic, so I'd thought I'd try my hand here ( Read more... )

This article may be of interest? According to that source, death via allergic reaction to a bee sting, for example, could possibly be classified as either accidental or natural causes. Per that article, I suspect your question re: death due to medication side effects would be classified as accidental.

If they died from a side-effect of the epi, that would be an accidental death. I'm not sure about the first one, though!

I can't answer your question, but just to note you might be better off if you searched for cause of death rather than manner of death.

You may have a deeper problem: it seems to me that what you are asking for are coroner's verdicts at inquest, not death certificate 'cause of death'. It's not clear to me whether this is a distinction you are already aware of, given you don't mention inquests I am going to take it that you may not ( ... )
