Anyone Know Voodou Mythology?

The setting isn't really relevant, but I need some info on the Baron Kriminel from Haitian Voudan legend because my chacracter is trying to explain voodoo to a friend. 2007 setting, London England- My character is very open-minded and into everything and her friend is trying to 'soul search' and find herself, so she asked about Voudan practise and

Rough explanation of Bawon Criminel: He is of the Bawon family of entities. The Ghede are the spirits of the dead and the Bawon are their mothers and fathers, more godlike than spirits.(though Vodoun really only offers one, distant creator-god)
Bawon Criminel is a fierce, violent Lwa, known for His habit of trying to devour the person He posseses, wich results in serious mutilation, unless experienced help is at hand. As you can imagine, He is a Lwa you dont want to fuck around with unless you know what your'e doing.
In person (or more, in spirit) He is a cannibal and a head hunter, keeping stolen souls in his sack and wearing a belt made from the heads of his enemies (compare to hindu-godess Kali).
Otherwise similar in apperance to Bawon Samedi he seems to me like their violent side.
