You mean Kubota, the one with glasses? Yes, I think he does look like Hakkai a bit *though when I read Wild Adapter for the first time and saw Kubota, I thought of sanzo x)* I take it you aren't familiar with WA?
But yeah, people are all the time connecting Hakkai to Kubota and especially...HakkaixGojyo to KubotaxTokito ;) But it's just the appearance I think. Kubota is nothing like Hakkai..x)

Is it worth the reading you ask? Haha, ohyesh it so is! <3 The series is...amazing. I don't really have the words to describe it, it's just...<3 I think Kubota is one of the best characters Minekura has ever created. Maybe even the best one. If the plot describtion interestes you, then omg...You'll be blown away I tell you! 8D The plot itself is interesting, but what I really, really love about WA is the relationship between Kubota and Tokito (and of course the characters themselves). It's just so amazingly put together and told. And WA really has a different kind of atmosphere in it if you compare it to Saiyuki. It's a sad kind of feeling I get every time when I read it, a bit like with Gaiden, you just know that things won't end up well. Though we really don't know that yet and I have read just four volumes so who am I to say anything about WA's end? ;) *though the second volume already hints of what could be coming. Okay. The first volume did that already too, so...x)* ...Am I just confusing you? ^^' I say one thing and then the
