read.

Yunho was looking for a book when he caught sight of Kim Jaejoong, sitting alone at one of the library’s numerous tables.

He then promptly slammed into the librarian’s cart - the whole incident thoroughly dampening his spirit, and causing him to limp away sadly as he tried to walk off the pain.

It was stupid really, how Kim Jaejoong had such an effect on him, but he felt better knowing that pretty much everyone else that came encounter with Kim Jaejoong felt the same as well.

The other student was just too attractive.

Yunho sighed and leaned against a bookshelf.

He was hopeless.

Yunho furrowed his brows, and his glasses slid down the bridge of his nose as he looked down at his watch. The person he was supposed to be tutoring was late.

Yunho disliked tardiness.

He liked punctuality. Showing up on time meant that the other person cared enough not to waste the other’s time, and it meant that -

“Kim Jaejoong?” Yunho squeaked as the other male smiled and took the seat across from him.

“Hi. You’re Yunho right? I hope you don’t mind tutoring me this week. I was absent a couple of times last week, so I’m currently behind on lessons.”

Yunho completely forgot about his issue with tardiness as he gaped at the handsome boy across from him.

Kim Jaejoong.

Yunho glanced down at the paper his teacher had given him, the application form for the after school tutoring session, and right at the upper left hand corner, was indeed Kim Jaejoong’s name.

Perhaps it was time for him to get his eyes checked at the optometrist’s - his reading abilities were obviously failing.

In reality, Kim Jaejoong was not behind on any of the lessons.

Jaejoong was just a bit silly and extremely obsessed, and if there was anyone he wanted behind him, that person was most definitely Jung Yunho, so as soon as Jaejoong had read Yunho's name on the list of tutors for an after school tutoring program, he signed up immediately.

He didn’t care if he’d have to go home late - he needed to get to know the senior before he graduated and was out of his grasp forever.

Maybe forever was a bit dramatic of a thought, but he was desperate, and he was presently having a hard time trying to understand the mathematical figures on the paper because Yunho was so close, and he smelled wonderful, and -

“Do you understand now?”

Jaejoong lifted his eyes off the paper and balked. He hadn’t expected a question. He glanced at the nearby clock on the wall before he turned his eyes to Yunho.

He would milk this opportunity for all it was worth.

Jaejoong smiled sheepishly, “I’m sorry, could you explain it again?”
o-o-o
The session had ended, and Jaejoong smiled at Yunho gratefully before he took his bag and began to make his way out of the library. He was deliriously happy, all too charmed, and incredibly pleased.

Yunho was just as perfect as he’d imagined.

Jaejoong pulled at the library door and frowned. It wasn’t opening right. He held onto the metal and pulled again, but it refused to move properly. Just as he was about to pull for a third time, a hand brushed next to his and pushed the door open.

Jaejoong blushed as he realized that he hadn’t read the door’s sign properly. He turned his head to thank the other person and blushed even harder as he recognized the person to be Yunho.

It took all the strength in his body to not collapse onto the tiled library floor in fanboy bliss. His stomach twisted as Yunho’s body moved closer to his, and he was fairly sure that his face was a bright shade of red. “I’ll see you tomorrow Jaejoong.” Yunho said with a handsome smile before he pushed the door open completely and walked out.

Jaejoong swooned.

Author’s Note: In an effort to get back to writing something that isn’t angst, I have created this, the first in a collection of drabbles/short stories that each have varying themes. It’s pretty much practice to help me get back into form to write more light hearted stories, and also, I do think this sort of fluff is always nice to read, especially since there seems to be a lot of angst going around. I’m starting to think this whole craze of Yunjae angst is a contagious disease. XD It seems like I’m quite inspired this week - four updates! Let’s all hope that this continues on so that can finish my birthday fic for daigensha_akuma, the next chapter of A Learning Process and the sequel for Suppress. Anyway, I do hope you all enjoy this ridiculous fluffy piece from me, a welcome break from all the angst I’ve written & read. Thank you for reading, and please do leave a comment! ♥

P.S. I plan to update A Learning Process soon, and I have a little reward in mind for whoever comments first on the sixth chapter. Whoever comments first will get the tentative title & a brief snippet of the sequel for Suppress. I hope that’s a nice enough reward. Hahaha. Keep an eye out for the next chapter of A Learning Process!
