Sebastian: *sigh*
*Paige happens to rush by*
Sebastian: Paige, there you are! Please stop and talk to me for a while, I need-
Paige: Oh, I can’t! Melodie and I are really making some wonderful progress and we can’t stop now. Can we talk later?
Sebastian: When?
Paige: I don’t know. When I have some time, I guess.
Sebastian: This is important.
Paige: But so is my work with Melodie…I really need to go.
Sebastian: If you must…
Paige: Bye, love!
*Paige rushes off again*
Sebastian: *mumbles* …but I really feel terrible. *sigh*
Elsewhere…
Rayna: *thinking to herself* This is crazy, I have to try and forget him. He will never love me…he can’t. I have to find someone else or I’m going to be miserable forever…but who?
*Zander enters*
Zander: Hi, Rayna! I was wondering…would you like to hang out with me.
Rayna: Uh…sure. What do you have in mind?
Zander: Well, maybe we could take a walk and you could show me around some more and then we could go get something to eat.
Rayna: *thinking to herself* I need to move on…maybe this is a good start…?
Zander: So, what do you say?
Rayna: Yeah, that sounds fun.
Zander: Great!
*This smile at each other*
Meanwhile…
*Lucas has sought out Annike*
Lucas: Nika, can you help me?
Annike: What do you need?
Lucas: Well, you said you’d help me with my school work…
Annike: Yeah, I did. Alright, show me.
*Lucas hands her a book*
Lucas: I’m supposed to read this book and write an essay…but I don’t understand anything!
Annike: Pfft! Lucas, this is so easy!
Lucas: For you, maybe. But I never was good at literature and stuff. Don’t make fun of me!
Annike: Okay, I’m sorry…but I’m not doing your homework for you.
Lucas: I never asked you to. I just need help understanding this book, that’s all. I can do my homework myself.
Annike: Alright…lucky for you, I’ve read this book before. Let’s take a look…
Lucas: Thanks, Nika.
*Lucas leans in close as Annike starts to go through the book with him*
