Photo Story
I was really hoping something would come in the mail today so I kept waiting and waiting until I realized...no mail is coming today in observance of Veteran's Day. *sigh* I'm annoyed with myself that I didn't realize this sooner! Blah, oh well...there's always tomorrow.

Chapter 104:
Annike: I don’t want to talk to you, Lucas…go away!
Lucas: You don’t have to talk, just listen. I have something to say. Just listen and then I’ll go away.
Annike: *impatient sigh*
*Since Annike doesn’t protest or walk away, Lucas takes this as a good sign and continues talking*
Lucas: I made a big mistake, I know it! I’m weak and stupid. I know you don't believe me but I'm really, really sorry.
Annike: *no response*
Lucas: I had this once chance to win you and I totally blew it. I should just leave…but I can’t. I have to stay and find some way to make it up to you…even though I know I will probably never be able to…
Annike: You’ll just end up leaving in the end.
Lucas: I won’t leave!
Annike: I don’t believe you.
Lucas: No…I guess you wouldn't.
Annike: Are you done?
Lucas: Yeah, I guess…
*Annike gets up and leaves without another word or look at Lucas*
Lucas: *sigh* Well, I tried…now I just need to keep trying…but this sucks…
Elsewhere…
*Paige has sought out Rayna*
Paige: Rayna! I wanted to talk to you.
Rayna: Oh? What about?
Paige: I talked to Sebastian…
Rayna: *sudden discomfort* Uh…you did?
Paige: Yes, he told me about your suggestion for Melodie.
Rayna: Oh…yeah…that… *relieved*
Paige: What did you think Sebastian was going to say?
Rayna: Nothing. So, about Melodie…?
Paige: Yes…you made me think of some different magic I could teach Melodie and I came up with the perfect idea! It’s going to be wonderful, I know it, and I think Melodie will be really excited about the possibilities.
Rayna: I’m so glad to hear it; I hope it all works out!
Paige: Thank you for the suggestion, I really appreciate your help…Sebastian does, too.
Rayna: *blush* Oh…it was nothing…
*Paige is looking at Rayna thoughtfully when Sebastian enters*
Sebastian: Hello there, ladies!
Rayna: *severely flustered* Oh…hi.
Paige: *still watching Rayna* Hello, love.
*Rayna squirms, Paige is suspicious*
Sebastian: How are each of you today?
Paige: I’m wonderful, thank you.
Rayna: *no response*
Sebastian: Rayna?
Rayna: Um…
Rayna: I have to go.
Sebastian: *concerned* Is everything alright?
Rayna: I’m fine…I just…have to leave…bye!
Paige: *very suspicious* Goodbye, dear.
*Rayna practically runs off*
Paige: Did you think Rayna was acting…odd?
Sebastian: *oblivious* Er…no, not really. I guess she just needed to go do something.
Paige: Yeah, maybe you are right… *not really believing what she is saying*
