Chapter 436: Broken Bonds
*Sabrina is outside walking around when she runs into Reilly again*
Sabrina: Oh…it’s you.
Reilly: Hello, Miss Sabrina.
Sabrina: Don’t call me “Miss”.
Reilly: But my Daddy says it’s polite.
Sabrina: *snorts* Yes…Ronan thinks proper manners are very important.
*Reilly nods*
Sabrina: Just call me Sabrina.
Reilly: But-
Sabrina: I know what Ronan told you…but it’s okay. Sabrina will do just fine.
*Reilly looks worried*
Sabrina: I’ll tell you what; we won’t tell Ronan…it’ll just be our little secret that you call me just Sabrina. Okay?
*Reilly smiles and nods*
Sabrina: That’s the ticket. By the way, are you waiting for Ronan?
Reilly: Yes.
Sabrina: Well then, I’m going to get going. See you later, kid.
Reilly: Sabrina?
Sabrina: Yes?
Reilly: You’re very pretty.
Sabrina: Oh…wow…thanks, kid. You’re pretty cute, too.
*Reilly smiles*
*As Sabrina walks away, she can’t help smiling*
Elsewhere…
Toby: I don’t know, Shelby…maybe this wasn’t the best idea. Phoebe hasn’t done anything but mope around since she got here.
Shelby: We need to be patient. This hasn’t been easy for her. Give her time.
Shelby: Plus she’s at that age. For girls it can be a very trying time.
Toby: You’re probably right, but Phoebe won’t even talk to me. I feel like such a failure as a brother.
Shelby: Oh…I had no idea you felt that way. I’m so sorry!
Toby: I don’t know what to do.
Shelby: Why don’t you let me take some time with her…you know, just us girls? Maybe I can find out some things and then we can work together to find a way to help her feel more at home here.
Toby: She does seem to respond to you better then she does to me…
Shelby: If she does, it’s probably just because I’m female. It’s nothing against you, I’m sure.
Toby: *nods* Alright, I think that’s a good idea. I just want to see her happier, that’s all.
Shelby: Don’t worry, we’ll figure it out.

It was only a matter of time until Reilly worked a bit of her magic on Sabrina. :P Now if Sabrina will just give poor Ronan another chance...well, we'll see.
