Yay, new chapter of "House of Pullip" which will explain a bit about what happened in the last chapter...not that I think many people need any clarification, but it will give more details about what they were thinking. Anyway, enjoy! ;)
Chapter 420: Listening
Jonas: Hey, Rayna…can I talk to you about something?
Rayna: Sure, Jonas. You know I’m always here for you.
Jonas: Are you?
Rayna: What is that supposed to mean?
Jonas: Oh…I didn’t mean anything bad…it’s just…you’re a wife and mother now. I just know you are busy.
Rayna: It’s true, Jonas. But you still matter to me; you can still come to me at anytime.
Jonas: I understand. I really do. And it’s alright; you’re doing what you should be.
Rayna: You still have Bo though. She’s a good friend, isn’t she?
Jonas: Yeah…this is about Bo…
Rayna: Is everything okay?
Jonas: I don’t know. Something weird happened…I need help…
Rayna: Oh?
Jonas: I almost kissed her.
Rayna: Really?
Jonas: Yes. She was upset, I was comforting her. She cheered up a little and I was happy that I helped…or hoped I helped. Then we looked at each other and…I sort of wanted to kiss her.
Rayna: Well, why didn’t you?
Jonas: We’re friends! Not…anything else.
Rayna: Are you sure?
Jonas: Um…yes…I think. You seem to think otherwise.
Rayna: Well, it’s just a feeling I’ve had for a while…but I think Bo likes you. I mean I think she likes you in a way that she wouldn’t mind being kissed by you.
Jonas: What? No…that’s not possible.
Rayna: I don’t see why not. You’re a guy…she’s a girl. It can happen.
Jonas: No, I mean she told me before that she can’t fall in love.
Rayna: Hmmm…well, like I said, I could be wrong. Things can change you know, especially around here.
*Jonas is quiet for a while, thinking hard*
Rayna: Are you okay?
Jonas: I was just thinking…what you said about Bo…if it’s true…that would explain why she’s been acting so weird lately.
Rayna: My point exactly.
Elsewhere…
Oki: He almost kissed you?!?
Bo: Yes.
Oki: And…why didn’t you let him?
Bo: *sigh* It just…wasn’t the right time…for the right reasons. I want him to kiss me because he loves me, not because he pities me.
Oki: But…but…
Bo: Here’s the problem-he had a sudden impulse to kiss me, that’s all. Almost right after that he thought of Grace and that if he did kiss me then it would really be over with her. Then he got confused. Lucky for me I could hear his thoughts! I didn’t want to be kissed with all that going on.
Oki: If you ask me, a good kiss might clear up his confusion.
Bo: Oki!
Oki: I think you’re afraid because you’ve never been kissed before.
Bo: *blush* Well…that too.
Oki: Love is about taking risks, Bo.
Bo: I know…I know. It’s just, if Jonas kisses me, I want him to be thinking only of me and not someone else…like Grace. Is that too much to ask?
Oki: No, I guess not.
Bo: *sigh* Well…thanks for listening. I don’t know what to do, but it was nice of you to talk to me.
Oki: Don’t give up on him yet.
Bo: I won’t…I can’t.
*Bo walks away*
Oki: I think it’s time for me to have a little talk with Jonas…

So, now Jonas is starting to think about this a bit more...perhaps he never considered it at all before because Bo told him that she couldn't fall in love? Of course, that's not true now, but she hasn't shared that fact with him yet. :P And Bo, since she can hear thoughts, wants to make sure those thought are in the right place before she starts kissing Jonas. I can't really blame her there...who would want to kiss a guy if you knew they were thinking about someone else?
