Chapter 407: Waiting Games
Oki: So…are you going to tell me or do I have to keep waiting for you to tell me how your date went?
Grace: *blush* Oh, I guess I’ll tell you.
Oki: *worried* Was it not that great?
Grace: What makes you ask that?
Oki: I just thought if you were really excited about it you would have told me already.
Grace: Well, it went fine. I have nothing bad to say.
Oki: Oh…good!
Grace: It’s not that I’m not excited…I just don’t want to get my hopes up.
Oki: Okay. Tell me more.
Grace: We went out to dinner. I was worried it would be awkward and he wouldn’t talk, but it was fine. We got to know each other…and you were right.
Oki: I was right about what?
Grace: There is more to him then just being cerebral. I would like to go out with him again.
Oki: You like him?
Grace: I didn’t say that, I just…want to know more.
Oki: Excellent! So, are you going out again?
Grace: *sigh* That’s the problem. He didn’t ask me for another date…I was hoping he would.
Oki: You could just ask him again.
Grace: I already asked him once, now it’s his turn.
Oki: Ugh…dating games!
Grace: I hate them, too! But if I ask him again don’t you think that would make me look…desperate?
Oki: Hmmm…maybe you’re right. I would just wait if I were you; he might come around and ask you himself.
Grace: I hope.
Oki: Patience. Wolfgang seems like the type of man that might be worth it if you don't rush him.
Grace: We’ll see…
Elsewhere…
Laszlo: Hi, Ivy!
Ivy: You’re in a good mood.
Laszlo: Yeah…yeah…I saw Felix…and I didn’t bite his head off.
Ivy: Oh…that’s good.
Laszlo: I remembered what you said and tried it. And…you were right.
*Ivy smiles*
Laszlo: If nothing else I need to like him for Madeline’s sake.
Ivy: She is so cute.
Laszlo: *smiles* I know, and she’s such a good kid, too. I suppose I have to admit part of that has to do with Felix.
*Ivy smiles*
Laszlo: Thank you.
Ivy: You’re welcome.
Laszlo: …
Ivy: …
*Laszlo looks away and Ivy feels unsure…*

Bonus Photo:
My new doll arrived today...and yes it's a Taeyang Another King. :D He was on sale at VotD and it was too good of a deal to pass up. Anyway, I wasn't going to take photos until his new wig came...but he's so gorgeous (even more so in person) that I couldn't help it and took some photos. I wasn't sure about him before he got here, but now I'm sure. Totally worth it!
He doesn't have a name yet either. Working on it...
Of course, I already decided that to make room for the nameless/wigless guy one of my current guys will have to go. I'm okay with that. Anyone on my flist interested in a Taeyang Jade with his original wig and his complete stock? I'm thinking $75 shipped in the US. Let me know if would like him. I'm sad to let him go, but I really can't let my collection get bigger. It needs to get smaller or stay the same size and I haven't bonded with Jade as much as I would have liked. :(
