Chapter 403: Forward
*Wolfgang enters the preschool*
Bailey: Hi, Daddy!
Wolfgang: Hi, sweetheart. Are you ready to go?
Bailey: Yes.
Grace: Um…Wolfgang…can I have a word with you before you leave?
Wolfgang: Sure.
Grace: In private…?
Wolfgang: *worried* Okay…
Grace: Just over here is fine.
Wolfgang: Bailey, go wait with Oki. We’ll leave as soon as I’m done.
Bailey: Okay, Daddy.
Wolfgang: Is everything alright?
Grace: Yes, everything is fine.
Wolfgang: Bailey isn’t in trouble is she?
Grace: What? Oh…no…of course not.
Wolfgang: Oh…then what is it?
Grace: Uh…well…I was wondering…would you…like to have dinner with me this weekend?
Wolfgang: …
Grace: *blushing* Too forward?
Wolfgang: No…it’s just…not what I was expecting you to say.
Grace: I know…I’m sorry.
Wolfgang: …
Grace: Uh…maybe it’s a bad idea. I just wanted to get to know you better…
Wolfgang: Actually, I…I’d like to have dinner with you.
Grace: You would?
Wolfgang: Yes.
Grace: *smiles* Thank you.
*They make arrangements to meet for a Saturday date*
*Grace sits down and breathes out a huge sigh of relief*
Oki: I saw what you did…
Grace: Yes, I blame you.
Oki: Hush, it’ll be fun.
Grace: *unsure* I hope so.

Grace has always been a lot more straightforward then the rest of my girls. That's a little hard for Wolfgang to handle, being as shy as he is...but then again, it's for the best because how long would Grace have been waiting if she expected him to make the first move? Yeah...wasn't going to happen. :P Anyway, this will be Wolfgang's first date since his wife's death. That could be a little stressful for him so we'll see how it goes.

One last photo of Greta before I sent her home today. I think she's happy to be headed back, how about you? Well, we'll see how happy she is when she sees all those new dolls that showed up during her absence. Good times ahead, I'm sure. ;)
