Photo Story, "The Matchmaker: Part 3"
I'm slacking...but here's the next installment of my latest photo story, "The Matchmaker". It's a bit clunky, but it was made in fragments, heh, so I had to piece it together as best I could. Stick with me here...and enjoy reading :D
Part 3:
*Oki has convinced Crispin to give her a piggyback ride as he shows her around*
Crispin: You are amazingly light!
Oki: Yep, it’s the pixie in me. We are all light as a feather!
Crispin: I could carry you like this for days and not get tired…I’m not saying I want to do that, it’s just an observation.
Oki: Of course.
Crispin: Look, there are my friends Sebastian and Paige. I want to say hello to them.
Oki: Okay…oh…no, put me down.
Oki: *hides behind Crispin* I don’t want to be seen.
Crispin: I thought you said only I could see you.
Oki: I didn’t know there was a fairy here…she can see me, I can’t hide from her!
Crispin: Oh…
*Oki vanishes*
Crispin: Oki? I wonder if she’ll come back?
Sebastian: Look, there’s Crispin.
Paige: I see him…and I’d swear I saw someone else with him a minute ago…
Sebastian: You did?
Paige: It looked like a pixie to me.
Sebastian: Hmmm…pixies are worse than fairies.
Paige: Hey…
Sebastian: *a smile tugs at the corners of his lips*
Paige: Wait…did you just make a joke?
Sebastian: I had you for a moment, didn’t I?
Paige: *laughs* I’m going to have to keep an eye on you, I can tell. Here comes Crispin, best not to mention the pixie just now, he’ll think we didn’t see her.
Sebastian: If you think it best.
Crispin: Hi, you two.
Sebastian: How are you?
Crispin: Very well, thank you.
Paige: Anything interesting happen to you today?
Crispin: Er…no, not really. *evasive* Well, I did meet some more people that live around here, Rayna and Grace.
Paige: Excellent. And do you like it here so far?
Crispin: Very much.
*Later, after Crispin has walked on again*
Paige: I’m worried about that pixie dealing with Crispin; they tend to be mischievous little matchmakers with a tendency to get the people they want to “help” in trouble. Do you think Crispin can handle himself?
Sebastian: In the past I would have said no. When he was younger he had the unfortunate tendency to give his love away too easily and had his heart broken many times. Too often young ladies are attracted to his looks but rarely do they try to see who he really is. Now that he is older though, he can take care of himself and won’t be lead to give his heart away to just anyone. He won’t do anything foolish…at least I don’t think he will.
Paige: I might still try to have a word with this pixie, if I can find her, and try to keep her out of trouble if I can…is that okay?
Sebastian: I trust you to do what you think best.
