Hormone Regimen After Trans Boy Is Turned Into A Werewolf

This setting is in modern day California. I've been researching FtM transitions like crazy, but I can't seem to find any explanation of how hormones interact with metabolism to come up with some answers.

I have a 16.5-year-old trans boy (who also has asthma - I don't think this is relevant to my questions, but I thought I'd bring it up just in case). I don't have anything set in stone, but what I have planned out right now is that he's probably been take T for a little over two years (since he was 14), and was on a puberty blocker for a few years before that. (He has been out as trans to his mother since he was about 8 years old. She's a nurse and very supportive of him, so she has been getting him started on the stages of treatment pretty early on at every stage.)

The story starts with him getting turned into a werewolf, and one of the canonical side-effects is that lycanthropy dramatically enhances one's metabolism (to such an extent that it's pretty much impossible for werewolves to get drunk, or at least stay drunk for long). They also have a very strong and very fast healing factor when injured.

1.) Would there be any change in the effect of the hormones? I know that antibiotics are not affected by metabolism and most recreational drugs are, but where do hormones fall into this/how are they affected by metabolism? Would my character need to start taking more T to keep up the same rate of change? If so...

2.) If the doctor was faced with a patient who was suddenly not reacting or barely reacting to hormones, what would be the initial reaction? (The doctor doesn't know werewolves even exist, let alone that my character is one). Would they prescribe more T, or assume something else is going on? What is there anything the character could claim to the doctor (revealing that he's a werewolf is not an option) to get a new T prescription as needed without an arduous process due to the doctor assuming there's a metabolic condition going on?

3.) If an advanced metabolism slows down or stops the impact of hormones, then assuming lycanthropy is tantamount to suddenly decreasing or stopping hormones, what kind of effects or problems can my character expect?

I think this is everything, but if there's anything else I should keep in mind when writing a trans werewolf/character with advanced metabolism and healing, please let me know.
