Well shit! Wasn't just me either, it was my whole department.

At least this time I qualify for unemployment comp. Geez.

Well ok, now I'm *definitely* gonna foreclose. :p

Heheheh. Nuts.

<3 thanks.

BTW, there's a lot of translations going on in the Hirasawa LJ forum. I wanted to check if it was OK to post the songs you worked on for me? I love the thought you put into them and it'd be cool to get to share them :)

Sure thing! But please don't tell me if people have mean things to say about my translations. ;)

Sorry to hear about your lay off. (Remember, always use the word "lay off" not "fired.")

That said, it could be a blessing in disguise. I thought getting laid off in December was one of the worse things that could have happened to me, but it only positioned me to better my career, improve my personal life, sucker my old employer for a severance package larger than any bonus they would have given me, and avoid the general malaise and unhappiness that currently coats my former workplace. In the end, getting laid off was the best thing to happen to me in a long while.

It may seem bad now, but with a little perseverance you can find a way to make it work for you. Good luck!

Wow, that really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. Good luck finding another position. Hopefully, you'll find something better than what you had before and you'll be grateful the whole thing happened, like Ant said. That's what happened with my wife.
