Hon.

I think you might be getting hydrogen, a very reactive element and the cause of all acid reactions. In fact, pH is the measure of how easily hydrogen is given away.

With Helium. A Noble gas, full electron shell and rather unreactive.

O.M.G. That was the best thing I have read in so long. I loved how every element of it was romantic. How everything was a different stitch in an elaborate quilt. Yeah . . . It's 4am and words can't describe how much I adored and savored every bit of this as I was reading it (at least not in the limited english that I can gather together from all the spanish when i'm only half awake).
I see there is a sequal, but I haven't made it to it yet. I'm debating on saving it for tomorrow or reading it now . . . I think I'm going to read it now, just don't be suprised if my review/comment to it is even less coherent or not even in english.
