I've been fangirling Kate Beaton from afar for a little while now. I think its actually a requirement for all Canadian history dorks to be fans of her, but that's neither here nor there.
(
If you don't know who she is, go check out her website. Read her webcomic. You don’t even have to be Canadian to appreciate her stuff either. If you've got a passion for history, a streak of dork in you, and don't mind some odd humour, then you will LOVE it. It's educational AND funny!)
Now, a little while ago,
Miss Beaton posted a comic about the Brontë sisters. I laughed until I wept.
Even more recently (as in just five minutes ago recently), I discovered Miss Beaton's blog here on LJ. It turns out she's planning on using
this image on some merchandise.
OH LORDY I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS TO EXIST ON SOMETHING I CAN BUY. I’m praying for a tee-shirt myself, but I’d totally settle for a bookbag or something.
This would be the point where I go back to my fangirly corner, re-read the Hark, A Vagrant! archives, and giggle far too loudly for my own good. You are all welcome to join me.
