One of the more fun fandom things I've been doing this summer is exchanging themed 'Wolverine and the X-Men' fanmixes via post with Kelly. This has led to much squeeing on both our parts, as we are both music nerds and fandom nerds, and mix-making brings this all together quite nicely.

The fanmixes are all CDs in Kelly's hands out East. If you're interested though, I can share. There's a Pyro one and an Emma Frost one so far, with this ship-one to come. Let me know, and I can make a locked up post to share.

As to the fic? Probablyhopefully by the end of the long weekend, since I don't work today, have Sunday afternoon off, and Monday free. I'll do my best to be VERY GOOD and get it done so it's just off my plate.

:: shakes fist at her modem :: Holy crap, I have so much of your life to catch up on. Am I excited for new mystery mix? Hells yes. (On a side note, I tried so hard for a Remy/Wanda that fell through horrifically too :/ It was to be centered around The White Stripes' Your Southern Can is Mine and was going to be an epic musical journey of revenge and foeyay!... but I couldn't get past the revenge heh) AM I AS EXCITED FOR FORGE/DOMINO-FICTASTICATION? HELLS TO THE YES MAM!

I left my second (actually working) mix in the capable hands of Canada post on Thursday. So stay tuned to mail boxes near you.

Also, I am thirded on the fiery fists of rage that should be brought down upon Arthur. Guys like that don't deserve a second of your worry. He's clearly a coward and a douche nozzle, not to mention lacking in common courtesy and decency. AND YOU HAVE A FEDORA AND ARE FABULOUS!!! <3<3 And you deserve way better than that. Looked up 'Your Southern Can Is Mine', and have decided HOMG THAT IS WANDA AND REMY. And If I ever get back to working on 'Drawing Dead', that's going to be the theme song. Or one of 'em, anyway. Lady Gaga's 'Poker Face' is totally NOT on the List AT ALL. AT ALL.

I look forward to your mix, and shall be dogging my poor mail-person most ardently until. My mystery mix is mysterious as well, and currently waiting for a cover. As usual. :) It will come though, promise.

My fedora and I thank you for the firey fists of rage. I look at it this way -- at least this didn't happen after a few dates once I'd committed myself to the relationship.
