Post-read reaction: ZOMG DEADPOOL! DEADPOOL!!! His dialogue is so... DEADPOOL. I'm not even caring that Remy's taking the passenger seat next to Deadpool's dialogue. Fwuh. 'Course, having the tete-a-tete in the end was all kinds of kick-ass as was the whole exchange where Deadpool wasn't invited to the party. ;)

I`m so glad I nailed the Deadpool dialogue. I was nervous about that, actually -- the whole thing was either going to sink or swim on that alone, and apparently this fic is swimming along just fine.

I'm so jazzed that people think I pulled Wade's voice off well. Like I said, I've been reading a lot of Deadpool lately (picked some up at the Emerald City convention, and love it all), and for some reason, comic!Wade combined with trailer!Wade....and Hannibal King from Blade Trinity.
(Shut up. No judging.)
It turned out okay, it seems, and it was so much freaking fun to write.

Not gonna lie; that was probably my favourite exchange in the whole fic. It warms the cockles of my fangirlish heart to have someone else show love for it too.

I love reading Deadpool too. Also words could not express my happyness when Ryan Renolds was cast. Is it wrong that, because of this, my first thought was Van Wilder with everything the same except for Wade Wilson as the titular character?

I think the improvement would be ten-fold at least :)

When he's working on repairing the Blackbird (TOO OFTEN FOR HIS LIKING), he has them on and cranked in the hangar. Though he'd deny it, there is often much dorktastic dancing and singing along.

AND YES. I swear, I heard that Renolds was playing Deadpool, and I realized that it fit perfectly. Hannibal King was pretty much Deadpool without katanas, or damn close to it.

Wolverine saw Remy after memory loss. Deadpool has a healing factor and could have eventually regenerated after the whole Origins mess. He's a loose cannon, mercenary for hire. No reason the three couldn't hook up later. Rogue certainly would be jailbait.
