My heavens, I'm ever so glad to know that you're still alive and kicking! *hugs* Hopefully the health issues have evened themselves out (as much as they ever do) and you have emerged TRIUMPHANT

1.a. Dear GOD, that kind of system would kill me. Would kill any teacher, I think. And as you point out, look how much that screws over the teachers who have to take on summer jobs. I hate how people always pull out that stupid 'teachers get summers off so stop complaining'. Yeah. We also don't get paid during that time

1. It's odd; summers here north of the 49th don't seem to be cut shorter. The school I work is an independent one, and can set its own schedule...in a manner of speaking. We start mid-late August, so we get out at the end of June as opposed to the middle of July as per the public system.
2) AAAAARGH. It was so not fair to leave us on that cliffhanger. I'm excited to get my grabby hands on it too, of course. I lost a bet with myself though. I'd been putting theoretical money on the title being Convergent. Ah, well.
3) Thank you, darling! I can't wait to get started, and I'm terrified at the same time. The prayers are greatly appreciated.
5) Hee! See, I generally favour slightly off-beat music. Give me some 90s/early 2000s pop though, and I'm a giggly, gurgly teenage girl again. Jury's out on if this is a good thing or not. Guaranteed it looks ridiculous to observers. :)

2)I KNOW. I'm seriously waiting for Allegian and sense some serious fangirling as soon as I can get my fingers on it!
3) Congrats! I'm praying for you!
5) I would never judge you for liking pop. I like it myself. A lot. Christian pop, but pop. :grins:
