1)These two just lend themselves so well to it. Also, I like the word badinage. ;)

2) Psssht. You know he decided afterwards to bump it through a few more increasingly risky channels afterwards just for fun.

3) The Guild in the conflictverse just breaks my heart. I get the increasing sense that it's just this big, backstabbing organization that looks out for the collective over individuals. Like I've said before, very Machiavellian. Kinda heartbreaking. Sad that Emil's the only one who cares about Remy. Then again, at this point he's the only Guild member worth trusting.

4) Babs will never NOT be awesome. The combination of her and Emil just makes me giggle. But mainly, her general awesome.

That you feel that way means I've accomplished my job. I was initially leery of making it so dialogue heavy, but with these two it kinda has to be.

And poor Emil, finally realizing what's up. You know from this point on he's going to defend and protect Remy even more.
