It's funny how I thought wrangling the characters in "Conflict of Interests" was difficult.

That difficulty was understandable, I guess, seeing as it was the first time I'd ever brought them together, and the  first time I'd even written some of them. It was a maddening an interesting process.

a) fictional characters are bitches. Anybody who says you're in control of that shit is obviously not a writer.

b) thanks for sharing the fanvid! Loved it! I always thought Prince of Egypt was one of the most under-recognized cartoon movies.

a) No kidding. Wrestling with characters is half -- perhaps even two thirds, I'm thinking -- of the battle. The remainder is plot. Or so I'd say from my own experience.
You may be interested to know that since the writing of this entry, one more character has edged her way in, and is demanding the recognition she is due. She's got a vicious streak, guns, and a willingness to use them. She's also one of the good guys.

b) No problem! I adore that video so much and desperately needed to share.
I also thought I was one of the very few people who absolutely ADORE "Prince of Egypt". Apparently all the Supernatural fans on my flist know and love it too, which makes this video that much better...and is damn surprising too.
