This one actually hurt to write, if only because of the Riley/Emmeline scene that's slowly extended throughout. That came first, and everything else followed. I'm honoured that it managed to strike such a visceral, powerful nerve.

Poking at emotional wounds is something I adore e writing and reading SO MUCH. Normally, my thing is broken men and the strong women who love them, but in this case the reverse could be said to be true.
