Well, hear me -- you got the battle, but I'm winning the war.

I believe it was three thirty or so -- perhaps even earlier -- when I took a break from cleaning the house to go do up some application packages for various school districts ( Read more... )

say eh, and your point is?, that's miss o'leary to you, my brain -- have you seen it?

My hat is off to you. It usually takes me DAYS (except when my friend brings over the latest PS3 game which means days usually turn into weeks) to do simple RESUME's, much less application packages.

I'll be waiting for that cackle. It'll be my alarm clock.

Thank you kindly, darling. My whole thing is that if I don't frickin' DO it, I never will, hence the marathon glutting of application weirdness.

I think you may have heard a screech of pain instead -- the Posties here went on strike, and I ended up having to courier all the packages, which was...significantly more expensive then sending it by post. As in setting me back one hundred dollars significant.

Heeee! A hundred dollars?! I would have delivered them personally if it was that much!

Heh. A little difficult when the places are spread all over the province, and I don't exactly drive.

Were it the case, I totally would have.

Thanks! I felt pretty freakin' good about the accomplishment myself.

However, what with the postal strike starting, I really didn't feel like trusting what could be my JOB to Canada Post regardless of how the strike works. I ended up having to go to UPS, which meant that I ended up paying one hundred dollars to get the packages where they needed to be. Please note that this is their slowest, cheapest method.
I AM SAVING MY RECEIPTS, POSTIES. I AM SENDING YOU MY BILL.

19 SECONDS WHUT WHUUUUUUUUUUT.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. That is just ouchie! Next movie is so definitely on me & if I must, I'll arrive 60 minutes early to make sure you don't buy it yourself. ;)

IDFK about this Stanley Cup finals! Both goalies are ridiculous. Like, they're not human. And did you see the size of Boston's captain?! He's MASSIVE. He's a Mack Truck on skates!

I KNOW. Bitterbittergrowlsnarl. This, and the fact that I had a whole bunch of CDs that I ordered after my birthday on my way that probably won't be here for a while now, are serving to make me very irritable. A

Fine then. Have it your way. ;)

These finals are BANANAS. You're right when you say these goalise aren't human. Humans don't move that way.
And re: Bruin's Captain -- To be fair, I'm the equivalent of a Volkswagen Beetle, so most people look like huge pickups or more. However, that guy is most definitely a Mack Truck.

Favourite thing so far though is this one quote I read this morning in the Province about the whole Burrows biting thing:
You're going to need a lot more than video evidence of Patrice Bergeron's finger in Burrows mouth to convict him. Even if the video seemed to show Burrows mouthing the words "nom, nom, noms" while it was in there.

I have no idea why that cracks me up as much as it does.

Boo. Hiss.

Though Honestly I was more angry about NBC going 2 minutes and forty five seconds heavy than the outcome.

THREE MORE WINS TO GO.

Really? I watch the games on CBC up here, so I wouldn't have noticed anything like that.

It was a small overage Only 2:45 for their coverage which isn't bad. I was just annoyed because it caused me to have to do more work.

At least they didn't go to overtime or else I really would have been earning my paycheck.
