Now where did we leave off?
Oh yeah, Madden and Kate moved in together following an impromptu Rickroll-serenade.
(Also, remember me saying 40 pics were too many for one update? Yeah, that's out of the window now)
But wait, there's something different about this picture....
Kate: "Where did you get all this stuff from?"
Madden: "Looted the abandoned furniture store, duh."
Kate: "Oh, okay."
Then all of a sudden none other than Ship decided to make an unexpected (and uninvited) appearance.
Ship: "Ohhh new furniture? Are you guys throwing a belated housewarming party? " :DD
Kate & Madden: "Uhhhh, no, but sure, do come in..." >.>
As for our couple, there was something of bigger interest awaiting in the bedroom - their brand new double bed.
Kate: "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
Madden: "I do believe I am!"
The look says it all, doesn't it?
And so it goes!
I should mention I have ACR and plan to interfere as little as possible with potential pregnancies and such. ;)
Madden: "Do you know Sierra? Man, she's hot!"
Kate: "Since you chose this particular moment to mention it, it can only be a hint..."
Madden: 8D
Later...
Kate: "Ooops, you're still here? Sorry about the noise, dude..."
Ship *lies*: "No worries, I didn't hear anything."
Ship isn't particularly close to either of them, but hangs out at their house a lot.
Madden works in the Business career too; he's a Vice President, which makes him Kate's boss. Kinky!
...Well, that didn't take long! All without my involvement, too.
I'm sure you all know what this classic legacy shot means.
Some Sims enjoy watching TV, or paying kicky-bag. Madden is not like other Sims.
After more shoppinglooting and scavenging, the Murrays now have an office as well.
The main purpose being having a computer to boost Kate's job hunting odds.
And sure enough, her dream job had an opening at last!
Yes, the door is very much real; it's also there to keep critters like you out . Scram!
If you needed any further confirmation, generation 2 is definitely on its way.

So in anticipation, there is now a nursery.
No significance to this particular shot, I just liked the lighting.
Do you know how some Sims get phonecall after phonecall from people they've never even met?
Yeah, Kate got her very own phone-stalker in the form of Fritz Riesen.
GAH!
So. Needy!
And who do we have here?
It's Kate's stalker! He's found out where she lives!
He left, then later he came BACK.
Fritz: "Someday...someday she'll see me for who I truly am..."
Uhhh okay, creepy dude..
Kate and Madden didn't notice though, because they had more important things going on:

Kate: "You're going down, bitch!"
Kate: "Punch her in the boob!"
Madden: *stoic gaze*
Burglar: "I fought the law and the law won..."
The break-in stirred Madden's paranoia.
Madden: "But but...what if there are more of them out there?"
Nothing a cuddle from his fiancée couldn't fix ;)
Although that was not the last they'd hear from that particular burglar who, apparently, decided to call from what I can only assume is Outerworld's makeshift prison.
Madden's expression is quite appropriate, I think.
But soon all else was put out of his mind by the fact that Kate went into labor.
Kate: "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULTAAAAAHHHHH!!!"
I wouldn't say all his fault, Kate...
They had a boy! This is Jacob, and has Kate's brown eyes and blond hair (yes she's a natural blonde)
Jacob, however, didn't arrive alone. Figures; first pregnancy - BAM twins. I didn't influence this in any way, btw.
And so Elliot was born! Identical to Jacob as far as genetics go. Boo; I was hoping for a redhead.
Jeez Kate, you've just given birth an hour ago!
And is that Ishmael peeping in on them?
Ishmael: "Please, I'm above such crude behavior."
He's not.
Someone, probably Ship since he was the last one to watch it, broke the TV.
Uhhh I'd let Kate do that if I were you, Madden. She's the one with the Mechanical points, remember?
Yeah, you definitely should've let her do it!
Madden: "AIIIEEEEEEEEEAUGHAUGHAUGA!!!"
Mac & Ishmael: *don't care*
Mac: *can't watch*
Ishmael: *disguises a smirk*
Why the heartlessness, man?
But then...
SHIT.
Madden: *collapses*
Mac: *goes back to not caring*
And Kate was sleeping, so I rushed her out of bed as quickly as I could...
But she was too late! :O

Madden's death was totally unplanned so I considered reloading, but this wouldn't be much of a ~post-apocalyptic legacy~ if I didn't also accept negative events, so I let it be. RIP, Madden :(
