my heart has unraveled into nothingness.

if i may put it in a very cliched way, it's beautiful, in a heartbreaking way.

ironically, i like the idea of how a person can even forget who he loves the most. you'd think it'd be etched in his memory forever, but reality is brutal, and it can alter the seemingly most unalterable things.

but you know how they say the one who lives hurts the most? it's the same here, i suppose. the one who remembers hurts the most. but it's even sadder when you can't even remember how to hurt anymore.

but i suppose, as long as one of them remembers, then it's good enough for them both. all those corny romantic phrases of 'i'll be your eyes if you can't see' can move aside, because now it's gonna be 'i'll be your memory if you can't remember'.

ah, i'm rambling now. but i hope somewhere in between the lines, i've made sense.

My heart hurt as I read it, because it must be hard to live life worrying about what your loved one will or won´t remember... it´s horribly unfair, and yet that´s life also...
