Although it seems like Mary isn't really around the dorm much immediately following the altercation at Ink, whenever Minnie next gets back to their room, there is still a note left on the bed, neatly handwritten. It reads:
I accept your apology. You should also know that I accepted Lucy's. Whatever you and she have going on between you, I don't want any part of it. Sort it out for yourselves or not as you're inclined, but leave me out of it.
However, I want to make something clear to you. I am well aware of your distaste for Ian. I think your assessment of him is massively ignorant, to be quite honest, and while you may be entitled to your opinion of him, I don't ever want to have to hear it. Just because I fugue doesn't mean I can't hear you. What came out of your mouth about him (and to be honest, about Lucy) was some of the most hateful things I've ever heard anyone say. And don't think I haven't yelled at Lucy about how she handled everything, because I have.
I don't think you're a bad person. But if we're going to co-habitate for the remainder of this semester, I need to make it clear that as far as my exposure to your opinion of my friends, you need to keep it to yourself, or at least, out of my hearing.
