Haha, so true! I haven't read Dean Koontz in a while, but that is exactly how I view his books. I never know whether I'll love or hate a book when I pick up one of his! I haven't heard of VELOCITY, though, so thank you for putting it on my radar! It definitely sounds like one of the better ones. :)
Ha, thank goodness someone shares my opinion on him. I honestly doubted my sanity. How could it be that I enjoy some of his books so immensely when others just made me facepalm so heavily that I feared to leave palm-marks on my face?
Velocity is a bit different from his other books, in my opinion, as there's no "monster of the day" but rather a monster in human shape. It's pretty good reading, though. :)
