font suggestions?

hello! i am getting my first tattoo this weekend! "the earth laughs in flowers" which is my favorite ee cummings quote. at this point i am planning on getting it on my right shoulder blade.

i need help finding a font! i would appreciate any suggestions! i am looking for a script font, but am open to anything! thanks so much!

Also, said it before and I'll say it again. Your artist can probably do a font for you that will suit your tattoo much better than anything you can find online.

yeah, i was hoping to have it all planned out before hand, but i'm just not finding the perfect font, so i'll ask him. =] thanks.

It is generally useful to find a couple of fonts that you like elements of though and show them to your artist. Gives them something to base their designs on rather than just pulling a scripty font out of thin air.

I just wanted to say YAY, I just got an EE Cummings tattoo on my back a week ago! (Will post pictures here once it's completely healed.) Like you, I had trouble finding the perfect font (sat on the idea for about 4 months because no fonts were jumping out at me), and I eventually found it on one font site or another, not dafont.com, I can't actually remember where. I'd just Google around a bunch, play with fonts on font websites, and talk to your tattoo artist about what you want if you don't find anything you really like.

"earth laughs in flowers" is from emerson, at least originally. i don't know what cummings poem you're talking about.
