So this will be my 4th tattoo but my first involving text. I really want the Bob Dylan line "build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung" as it's really significant to me and I'd like to have it surrounded by a scattering of coloured stars. My first thought is your back. Are you planing to get it all as one line of text or to break it up? You could do something where the text is angled a bit to mimic a latter.

I'm thinking upper back but wasn't sure if it would look ok. I love the ladder idea :)

back. but i'm probably only saying that because i'm getting one on my back this weekend. i think shoulder blade is a great spot, can be easily covered, and visible when you want it to be. get it near the top of your shoulder and the stars could be falling down your back, maybe?
