Yeah, I'm not sure I like how spaced out 1 in either, but I could always push them closer together... I just worry about the letters bleeding and looking weird if they're too close.

Thanks~

Waffling between either 4 or 5, leaning towards the latter. Four seems a little...chunky?

also: hetalia icon love!

Yeah, I agree, but I sort of like it, although the neater and less chunky fonts are nice too. [I'm far too indecisive, which is why I'm asking for help on this. xD] And I can't help but think that the f is just a little thicker than the rest of the letters. Or maybe I've just been looking at all the fonts too long.

Thanks; I love your icon, too. :D Oh Poland~

3 seems the most appropriate for the word...it's the only font where the lines are clean instead of having other little slash lines at the end of each letter. So for 3, that makes it look like the lines of the word could continue on forever toward infinity. Though they all look nice.

P.S. I think that's a beautiful choice and not cliche. Most of the Perks ones I've seen have the whole sentence but the one word that just reminds you of what you've already known makes it much more intimate and much more Perks.

Hm, that's a really interesting way to think of font 3... I just liked how it looked, I hadn't even thought of that.

Thank you, I really appreciate that. I kind of like that I'll get exactly what it means, but it can be more vague and open to interpretation for anyone else who may happen to notice it. I've really gotten a lot out of Perks, so while I don't mind people knowing why I have it and what it's from, I do see it as a rather personal thing that I'd be getting for myself.

i have one word, in typewriter font, on my left wrist.

it wasn't too bad, pain-wise. just in the middle, on the tendon, but it really wasn't too bad in my opinion.. and i'm bad with pain. :-P

Ah, cool. What word do you have?

Not that I'm glad you're bad with pain, but this does make me less nervous about it. :) Thanks for letting me know!

i actually have both wrists done..

i have "create." on my left, facing out and "LOVE" in braille [to symbolize that love is blind] on my right, facing out.

where the "ea" meet, that's really the only part that made me wince.. but seriously, i'm a big baby *and* an apprentice did it [they tend to be a little more heavy handed] and it wasn't too bad.

Oh, those look REALLY nice! I love the braille one, that's such an interesting idea.

I wanted to get "infinite" just slightly closer to the hand, but I'm not sure I want to get too close, both because the wrist will bend a lot and because it'll probably hurt more. xD;

Okay, you're definitely making me feel better about this. As I said, I've never had a tattoo before and I've only pierced my ear lobes and belly button, so I haven't really done anything painful to my body before, so this is making me a bit nervous. I should be able to deal with it though. Besides, it'd be worth it. :)

Thanks so much!
