Hi there everyone,

So some of you may or may not remember me and my first tattoo which I got in January. It’s from the book and movie, Watership Down by Richard Adams. I am absolutely in love with it and have definitely been bitten by the tattoo bug. I have decided on my next tattoo which will also be from Watership Down (I swear I’m going to be a ( Read more... )

I have a copy of the book to hand, do you know roughly where in the book that quote is?
I love Watership Down, I have a rabbit tattoo which is kind of half a tribute to the book & half a tribute to my pet rabbits =]

Awesome! Thank you so much! You're my hero! I just wanted to know if that was actually in the book or if it was just in the movie. I'm glad it's in both. :)

Asymmetry is not a bad thing at all. Maybe you could doodle the quote on your wrists with a sharpie just to see what it looks like beforehand. Also, I personally think that without punctuation would look the best. In a way, the punctuation is replaced by the aesthetics of the tattoo.

Aaaand, I have my handwriting on my wrist and it's awesome! I get complimented on it all the time. It's really a great way to have a piece of yourself on you, if that makes any sense. I am pretty sure they can increase the font for you, too.

Good luck with your piece! Make sure you keep us updated :)

I'm definitely leaning towards assymetrical. I kind of like it. I've doodled it on my wrist several ways so far. ;) ha ha

Oh I was so excited to finally read Watership Down and I only got 70 pages in before I gave up. I just couldn't get into reading from a rabbit's POV *shrug* Maybe I will try again one day lol.

1. Sorry I can't help
2. I like it with the commas and assymetry.
3. You'd have to ask your artist if they can increase it if it's too small. I know the smaller it is, the more likely it'll bleed because the skin is thinner on the wrist.

I like it! I can't wait to see it! When you post pics, can you post your El-Ahrairah too?

I will definitely post pics of everything when the wrists are done. I'm getting super excited again. Why are tattoos so addictive? Why?
