I like both ideas. For the wrists, though, I really like a very simple font and if it were me, I would just do the words. Very direct. No flourish.

Beyond that, I thought I'd throw a couple other verses that might help you in that other struggle also. I'm lovin' these two:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.

"My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life." Psalm 119:50.

That second one will be a tat for me someday, I think.

Good luck!!

I plan to have Rev. 22:17 myself someday:

"The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let everyone who hears say, “Come.” And let everyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who wishes take the water of life as a gift."

Do you really want words, because another option is to get lilies or birds in relation to the Matthew 6 passage. Jesus uses a lot of imagery in that passage, so there are several other options along those lines. Though I like quote tattoos, I prefer images that point to something else, but that's just me.
If you want wrist tattoos, I really like the courage/faith idea. I have Worshiper on my wrist with a branch of cherry blossoms encircling the wrist. It's probably my favorite of all my tattoos, and I always get lots of compliments.

something you could also consider is getting the name/number (sorry i don't know what the technical term for that is, i skipped out on the whole organized religion front) of the bible verse on your wrists. i've seen people do that with like shakespeare (like hamlet i. ii. 81) or something, and it hink that could look cool and also be a neat story to tell when people ask.

i really like jeremiah 29: 11 that someone else posted.
