(no subject)
i'm getting tattooed in a couple of hours and i can't believe i just thought about THIS now...
i am getting part of my favorite pablo neruda poem done, as part of filler work on my half sleeve. because space is limited on my arm, i was originally thinking of "breaking up" the poem from it's standard three lines of text, to where it would fit on my arm better- like so:
BUT...the original poem is written like this:
my question to you all here is, what are the "rules" as far as changing the 'layout' of the poem?? am i creating a horrible faux pas by doing so?? thoughts, opinions please! (sorry if this is a dumb question!)
and i will be getting it in this typewriter font...and i am ATTEMPTING to make it fit somewhere on my arm:
