I just stumbled upon this community and I'm so excited!! I love that there are so many people into book tattoos.

Anywho, I'm saving my right arm for literary tattoos from my favorite books (I fondly refer to it as my "book arm") I eventually want to have a half sleeve, and so far I have two tats.

And I would like to share them with you )

the giving tree, j.d. salinger, the catcher in the rye

I read the Giving Tree to my 4-year-old once about every 2 weeks, & it still makes me weepy, every time!

I have to read it twice in a row to my 5-yr-old sister, she loves the book so much. She was so excited when I got the tattoo!

luv the catcher in the rye tat.

there were several editions of p&p that had illustrations. i'm not sure it would be anything to your liking, but maybe it would give some ideas. the tinted line drawings (the second section) are my fave:

I've tried to grow mine out, but I keep finding myself coming back to the short hair. It's just so convenient :)
