I'm looking to get a lit inspired tattoo soon... as in the next few weeks.
I'm debating between the following...

"tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther..." - F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

or

"Let us toast to ... "the good life", whatever it is and wherever it happens be." -Hunter S. Thompson, The Proud HighwayI'm

not sure if you were asking about placement or the quote itself. i like the placement. as for the quote, obviously, think about it a lot and pick the one you like more.

personally, though it shouldn't affect your decision, like i said [and have honestly not read great gatsby] i really like "tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther..." but i think i'd leave out "tomorrow", because then its more of a reminder to do those things NOW, you know. but like i said i don't know the context of the book either, and i do like it either way. :)

pick what you like more, but fitzgerald is my favorite ever, so that one holds my heart.

i just got my outer thigh done and it was an awesome and easy placement. though i was on vacation so i only had a skirt to wear and its now ruined with tattoo ink bleeds!

Awe thats so awesome though! I hate when that happens. I had my side done (just a little outline of a horse) but it left a stain on my white t-shirt... not a good idea for me to wear white to get a tattoo... hahah

I have an HST tattoo and Gatsby is one I have planned for the future... soooo basically, I say get both....
