Honestly, it looks as good now as the day it was finished. Only one or two letters have lost their crispness, but you really can't tell unless you stare at it for a while. For being five years old, I've certainly seen worse in text tattoos that are newer than that.

If the font is large enough, it will be fine. Smaller letters will blur, like anything tattooed
