oh god
first time i've read it (it was 3 years ago, right?) i've been crying for a half am hour, even more than after reading the scene of Sirius's death in OoP.
but it's still so exciting to read, thanks:)

You're welcome. These moments Harry has with his deceased parents do have a certain heaviness to them that can be worse than the death of a beloved character.

Have you been following "Mark Reads Harry Potter?" He's on book six and his reviews reflect so much more than I got out of them the first time around, and he's so obviously affected by them. He was fairy cynical in the first book, but that was because he'd just finished reviewing Twilight and hated every second of it.

I haven't heard of Mark. Thanks for introducing it to me. It's always interesting to read or hear the perspectives of other people regarding books, especially Harry Potter since it's read by such a wide range of people of varying ages.
