Alright who watched House last night? Because DEAR GOD. Every week I find myself thinking that there's no way House and Wilson can get any more married and then every week I'm proven wrong. So, so wrong. This time though - I . . GOD. I was staggered and all I can do even now is sit here and wave my arms around and open and close my mouth over ( Read more... )

Your icon always makes me so happy ♥

I'm a million years late to answer this but HOUSE WAS SO GAY IT'S STILL FRESH IN MY MIND. He's going to keep Wilson's dog ALFJLAKDJFLAKJFLAKJFLKAJFLAKJFLAS.

I can't wait until tomorrow's episode. Will it get gayer? CAN IT?!

Did you know that you make me happy? I've been terrible so far about coming over and spamming your journal but HAPPY. You bring me lots of it :)

I thought the WWIII thing was a bit pointless, but it was fun, so whatever - Exactly! As far as I'm concerned, if I had fun with something it was a success. I haven't read last week's 52 yet (or the new JSA *cries*) but I saw the Tim's uniform comment and if that's the kind of thing I have waiting for me OH MY GOD. I need to find some time to sit down with last week's comics pronto.

I want more Jason with the Bats (if they have him show up in Robin sometime soon, I will love them forever and ever) - YES, GOD YES. I quit on Robin because it was making me sad - has it gotten any better in the last few issues?) - but if Jason popped up in it I would FREAK and buy 2 copies. *starts praying to the comics gods*

That's not to say he's no affectionate or doesn't love his kids like hell, just that he's not exactly what you'd call a good parent. - Ahahahahaha is there anybody in the DCU who ( ... )

I am so very, very glad that you friended me... what... yesterday? Because otherwise I never would have seen this. I love your comics squee - it closely matches mine. It's way past my bedtime and I nearly fell asleep at work today, so I won't go on in depth tonight. But just one thing, because it must be said...

I'm doubly convinced that I need to start reading Blue Beetle. Jaime's a hoot!

If you're not reading Blue Beetle, you absolutely must start. Absolutely, no question. Jaime is my favorite new character in the DC universe. Jaime is love. Jaime has filled the empty space in my heart left by Bart when he grew up overnight and stopped being joyous.

And Bruce and Jaime are perhaps one of the best double-acts ever. I loved Bruce and Jaime way back in Crisis, when Bruce got all snarky with the other heroes for putting too much pressure on him because they didn't know how to deal with kids. And when Jaime puked in the Watchtower. And Bruce asked Jaime very politely not to tell Green Arrow what he'd said about the whole Brother Eye ( ... )

I love your comics squee - it closely matches mine - YAYE. Sometimes I feel like all I see around me is dissatisfaction with current comics and it makes me sad not to have anybody to share my squee and flail with.

There are about a hundred things I want to ask you - which books you're enjoying the most etc etc - but I'll limit it to one - are you enjoying the Morrison Batman? I feel so cold and alone in my love for it that I have to know ;)

I bought the Blue Beetle trade and can't wait to sit down and read it through. He replaced the empty Bart spot?! YES, REALLY MUST FIND TIME SOON TO SIT DOWN WITH HIM. I couldn't have loved him in the Brave and the Bold more if I tried.

I wasn't too fond of the Damian arc (that was Morrison, right?), but the newer issues are just the best kind of crack. That whole "I got over it" panel? I was howling right along with you. And maybe I would have liked the Damian story better if the tiny little brat hadn't managed to completely unrealistically beat the crap out of my Tim.

I simply refuse to believe that my Robin could be bested by that child. (Tim is my formative Robin, you understand how that goes, right? I imprinted on him big time.)

Wow so I don't remember any of that! Infinite Crisis was one of the first things I read so a lot of it was a blur and went over my head.

I just realized while reading your comment that some of that happened in Blue Beetle, in flashback. I'm so terribly sorry that I spoiled you for it. ::headdesk::

Oh wow. I really love your icon. Is it from Robin? I quit reading a few issues back but if that's what it's looking like I might have to reconsider. Tim ♥

Yeah, the Damian arc was Morrison and I agree whole heartedly about the Damian kicking Tim's butt thing. WHATEVER to that whole thing. I chose to overlook that because there was so much awesome crack there. Bruce bragging about his rocket! The pole down to the batcave! Ninja manbats! Alfred reading Artemis Fowl and teaching Bruce how to talk to the 'ladies' again! Bruce sleeps naked!

Dick is my formative Robin and so yes, I absolutely understand how that goes. *laughs*

Don't worry about spoilers! Now I have an idea of what to look forward to and I can't wait :)

Thank you so much for the recs. *hugs you*

People show some kind of sign of needing him and he's stripped and ready for naked time before you can blink.

I adore this entire post, but I especially love that sentence. In my opinion, all good-looking superheroes should have those same priorities.

*SMOOCH*

In my opinion, all good-looking superheroes should have those same priorities. - Ahahahaha YES THEY SHOULD. Dick is a true winner and should be a role model to all! Clark should spend more time with him, learn a thing or two ;)

Aaand I wanted to ask you - you interested in reading the new JLA and JSA issues? They rock so hard and are so full of love I was just going to send them to you but I suppose if you tell me you're not interested I can hold myself back *laughs*

I'm still working my way through all the Superman comics you sent me not too long ago. I try to keep one in my car and read it while waiting for my son to get out of school. I am really, really enjoying them. Thank you again.

Also, thank you so so much for the virtual gift. I truly feel blessed to know you. *hugs you hard*

Waiting in the car while I pick up my brother and sister from school is my main reading time too ♥

I'M THRILLED THAT YOU ARE ENJOYING THEM. And I'll try and wait on the JSA/JLA thing. I might not be able to help collecting them in a little pile for you though ;)

I adore you. *broken records*

The next time I need to explain to someone why I love Dick, I will point them to you. Well put.

This is possibly the best thing anyone's ever said to me. Especially since I know how much you love Dick.

Also - I've been meaning to come over and spam your journal and say hi to you since you friended me but I fail at life. Heck, I've been meaning to friend you for forever but been too shy.

So hi :) *waves*

I have this compulsion to answer all comments whether it's necessary or not . . so in the interests of getting to know you better and because it's always a good time to talk about Dick - What's the first canon Dick moment that pops into your head when you think of him?
