I always thought the ring was a Marine ring, like from a school ring. I think though i am not positive that the military can order rings like that with the military symbol inside the stone and on the ring. I always saw Danny as an officer, and now that we know he can fly choppers I think he had to have been one, cause isn't it only officers who fly choppers or am I thinking of Naval pilots?

Oh well, beautiful story. I am so in love with Danny, and any Danny fics are so welcome. I really really need to break down and start writing.
