Usually I'm uncomfortable with the idea of blatantly putting Chinese and Japanese clothes together into one outfit, because China and Japan are two different countries and it bugs me that people get them completely mixed up. (Don't get me wrong; I like wearing clothing from both countries, but not together at the same time!) However, my talented ( Read more... )

Cool, thanks for taking the time to write constructive criticism! I really appreciate it. :)

It was a fun photoshoot, but yeah, the rock was a bit uncomfortable... in fact, it was actually part of a stone staircase. Ouch! ^_^

Actually, just thought you like to know, that in Taiwan, the women wears kanzashi with their chinese traditional clothes all the time. Because, Taiwan is culturally both Japanese and Chinese. So, to me, you are still dressing chinese, because that's what I'm used to seeing growing up.

Wow, thanks for the info! That's really interesting. I'll have to look up some pictures, because I really want to see that! ^_^ My mother is from Canton and my father is from Hong Kong, so maybe that's why it's my first time hearing about this. Whenever my father sees me wearing kanzashi, he says "What's that on your head?". XD
