sad news...
It's my sad duty to report that on arriving home from our honeymoon, Erik and I discovered that one of our cats, Miss Gray, has gone missing. I've called all the local shelters and posted on craigs list about her. When Erik comes home we're going to make some posters.

I'll be thinking kitty thoughts about you guys and yer kitteh. But I agree with Erik - one cannot predict the hows and why's of a cat.
Most cats have a pretty solid homing device in their heads, and will come back. Leave some cute food out on the back stoop and hopefully Grey will let you guys know when she's back.
This can be no one's fault! There was no SIGN! Miss Grey has just gotten herself a bit of an adventure, eh? I think she can hack it.
Get her face to all the local vets and shelters. And then try to not think about it. *hugs for ya*
