I read Mourning Becomes Electra, for the first time, and Cloud Atlas, for the first-and-a-half time, and my headspace is just weird this morning.

Cloud Atlas is very post-modern (indeed) and it had the odd quality of a wooden Jacob's Ladder. Not the electrical device in movies, but those little blocks of wood, which are tied together with ribbon

I feel really bad because someone else asked for Gilmore Girls as well so now there are TWO Gilmore Girls AU's being written for the challenge. I hope you're okay with that. :/

I was hoping to not actually deal with that, but if you're willing to at least tolerate a second AU, I'm totally signing up.

I will tolerate a second AU. It's just that I didn't want to tell this girl "No, because someone on my friends list is doing it" and look like a bitch. Also I didn't want to go ahead and just sign you up for it without being sure you definitely wanted to participate.

Yay! I totally understand, and she (I presume. I always presume.) has a way better claim to it, having actually managed to sign up while I was...well, reading depressing literature for class, which really typifies this all.

But, I am definitely participating, and will go sign up now!
