So, enter my pop-psychology and textual boredom. Fwee. Wanky? Yes, yes, it is. I am hetero-centric, but if you mention a fix-it I ought to make, it shall be done!

heh, well, though I agree with you on some of the points you made here, one thing I don't agree on. It isn't always about sex in fandom. You're forgetting all the stories and pictures that don't have anything to do with romance. And then there's the romance that you never see actually develop to sex. I've been in fandom for years, and the only sex I've written has been recently and was non-con. ^^'
oh, btw, if you're interested you could go to my lj and see some artwork I did of Dick and Roy...it's still gen, but I'm going to end up doing a fanart of the two. ^^

Oh, right! Ah, if only I weren't so fixated on sex. But yes, that is true, there's a fair amount of love, fic and what have you that isn't explicitly sexual in nature. In fact, the vast majority of things in the world, and in fandom, aren't sexual!

Why do I miss glaringly obvious points like that until someone points them out to me? But, yes, thanks.

And, ooh, I'll have to check your art out.

lol, well, that's what I'm there for - to point stuff like that out to you ;) Because many people are indeed focused on the sex part of fandom ^^ therefore you need someone who isn't around ;)
well, so far I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on it ^^'
