I think O'Neill definitely has the right to be concerned over Sunnydale, but poor Xander and Riley are headed towards a confrontation! I'm glad to see Xander's and Riley's conversation showing that they still care quite a bit for each other. And the history stuff was good for a non-Buffy fan like me to get a bit of background. Can't wait for the next chapter!
These men do respect each other, but Xander knows his girls enough to know that what they told Riley is a big-old lie. And I'm so glad that you could keep up without the fandom background.

Awwww. Thank you so much. I do think Teal'c and Xander have a different view of the world than most people, but that's largely due to the fact that they grew up in war zones. You do what you have to in order to survive, and then you wonder why everyone else's knickers get in a bunch.
