So, finally on the same page and I thought it realastic that Blair didn't see himself as Jim sees him. Nice to leave them sleepy and sated. I don't have a clue if they'll stay with section or if SGC will accept them with the conditions they would have to live with. It seems unlikely that they can just go back to Cascade, though, but now they will be together. Laurie
Even I normally write a beta boy Blair, but I don't think it's a hard stretch to see him as an unconventional alpha just making the big boys *think* they want what he wants. It's a good match for *this* Jim who looks all alpha but really isn't. And going back to Cascade is a possibility, but not a good one at this point.
Thanks so much. I'm really glad you enjoyed Jim's attempt to rearrange Blair's world view. I do think Blair is a lot stronger than he gives himself credit for some days.
I love Jim's explanation to Blair and Blair's realisation of how right he is. Blair always gets his own way in the end, huh? Hee, that is a really nice take on their relationship. I have to keep reminding myself of how different their lives are, as a result of Section preventing many of the pivotal points in canon, and I loved the evidence Jim quoted to support his theories. No going back now. Not that there was really any chance before. But it's nice to see them finally reach the conclusion of their years of UST. Now all we need is for Jack to come up with 1, a bit of trust and 2, a plan that works for all of them. I do love this story.
Hey, Blair *does* always get his own way in the end, mostly by just wearing Jim down until the poor man just gives up. And Section has changed their lives (particularly with the diss and with Alex), but of course, they'll never know that.
