AND SHE HAS THE COOLEST NAME SINCE AINSLEY HAYES, just sayin'.

Oh, I love this post. I just watched Sunday's new episode last night, and when Sloan was all "Fuck you" to the debate guy, I was like, SLOAN IS MY FAVORITE, AND I'M SO SURPRISED.

I had no knowledge of Olivia Munn prior to this, but I love Sloan so much.

Ainsley Hayes will always have the coolest name ever. It's unbeatable.

I just watched Sunday's episode last night too, and it only further cemented my love of her. Sloan is so not the kind of character I'm usually invested in, but I love her and I love her dynamic with Neal, and she's just awesome.

Pretty much all you have to say about Sloan, I agree 100%. After the pilot I thought Mckenzie was gonna be my favourite, but that went downhill real fast. Sloan on the other hand is the light of my life regarding this show. Her unwillingness to back down and of course the meta-quality to her character you mention make it impossible for me not to love her.

(Now I only need Lisa to become a main character against all logic, because I think she has some amazing potential in that regard as well. Even if my Lisa/Jim shippy feelings are doomed, they could have the courtesy and not use her as a prop in the Jim/Maggie thing >_<)

"I'm totally outraged people judge me by my looks, but check out how I look in this Princess Leia cosplay!"Now I don't know a lot about Olivia Munn (nothing really), but I think it's not okay that in order to not be reduced to your looks and your body you should have to cover up. If she likes Princess Leia and wants to cosplay her, or hell, if she wants to cosplay Dany with only a plushie dragon covering her private ( ... )

Yeah, I had high hopes for Mackenzie too, but I just can't with her and Will and that whole mess.

I completely agree. The incident in question was she was up in arms (rightly so) because there was an article published saying she only got hired for The Daily Show because she's hot. But even as she was protesting this, pictures were all over the internet from when she hosted G4's Attack of the Show where they deliberately sent her to Comic-Con dressed as Princess Leia because she's hot to "report." Here's the original story. So much of the furor was not that she should have to be covered up (she doesn't) but you don't get to have it both ways: you don't get to trade on your looks and let yourself be objectified and then get up in arms when people call you on it.
