So I have a lot of free time. And, because I have a lot of free time, I end up spending a lot of time online, where I encounter a lot of fandom stuff and a lot of sexism/racism/general douchebaggery. I occasionally rant in my LJ and I sometimes do it on tumblr, but I decided to make it a little more formal.

I have such a love/hate relationship with westeros.org because I miss so many little details and the forums are great for theories, but all the people are such assholes.

Perhaps I will at some point! Fighting writer's block at the moment and trying to power through my got_exchange fic (I feel like whenever I get these exchanges, I get into a groove for the first week, get about halfway done, and then hit a wall and just open the document and stare at it), but you know that I have all the feels about Cat and WHY DO PEOPLE HATE HER. WHY. MY BB.

This blog looks like an amazing idea :). I might even have some rant in me? I've recently seen some obnoxious stuff about how women from "love triangles" mistreat the guys (this was about Hunger Games, but I see identical behavior in TVD fandom).

I'll see what I can do :). Seriously, this stuff already rubbed me the wrong way in The Vampire Diaries, but when I saw someone say that Katniss is toying with those poor boys' feelings, hell broke loose...

I think this is a GREAT idea. You're a terrific writer, and the issues that women face in fandom deserve to be discussed and challenged. I look forward to devouring every awesome thing you post on this blog!
