The first thing Lissar does when she gets home home is call Mikaela. After she's arranged for the other young woman to stay over and watch the fleethounds she pulls out maps and plots a course out to the Mojave National Preserve.

She won't have to wait long. 'Hide's been busy since early this morning, so his duties for the day are out of the way. His horn honks once as he turns into the driveway and pulls to a stop.

"Good evening, Ironhide." Lissar says, bouncing up and heading for him. Even with all the fear and worry, even with all the suffering going on inside, she can't help but greet him with joy. "I wondered if, perhaps, we could go out to the desert tonight? I found a place..."

"Don't see why not," says the truck thoughtfully. "I could use some good open territory away from town. You good to go?"

"Just let me load it all." Lissar says with a nod, grabbing things up. The water is the heaviest; she has enough for herself and enough extra that if he needs some there won't be any problems. "I asked Mikaela to come over and watch the dogs." she manages a faint smile, "I did think you would enjoy the trip out. I have maps, here."
