re Hair: try using some really high quality keratin treatments. pricey, but it coats the hair and prevents damage. also if there is damage, it smooths it down. and sadly, regular trims, if you catch the splitting early on, less has to be taken off, as painful as it is to get it cut so often. try to use less chemical products as well, like your shampoo and conditioner, it will reduce the amount of chemical damage over time.
